Summer Placement interview

Assessment Days for London and International Summer Placements usually take place in February.

What will the Assessment Day involve?
For both placement schemes, the Assessment Day process is broadly similar.

The Assessment Day will include a group exercise, an interview with two partners based on the facts of a typical client problem, which you will be given to read 30 minutes in advance on the day of your Assessment Day. Your interviewers will also explore your career motivation and some of your key achievements.

Following your Partner interview, you will meet one of our associates for a more informal discussion around your application, your interest in commercial law, your particular interest in Baker & McKenzie, and some competency-based questions.

The whole process should take no more than four hours.
